Mario J. Palumbo Jr. is the managing partner of MP Los Angeles overseeing the development of Hollywood Center. With decades of experience creating large-scale, transformational, mixed-use projects, Palumbo is devoted to working with the Hollywood community and elected officials to ensure that the Hollywood Center project will thrive as a significant development serving residents, locals, and visitors alike.
Palumbo received his JD from the Stanford Law School and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Princeton University, from which he graduated summa cum laude.
Michael Gargano is Managing Director of MP Los Angeles and Argent Ventures LLC. Gargano is responsible for structuring and financing new acquisitions and for overseeing development, leasing, and management of the firm’s properties. Prior to joining MP Los Angeles and Argent, Gargano was a real estate attorney with the law firm of Shearman & Sterling, where he represented institutional and government clients on major real estate development and financing transactions.
Gargano is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Hollywood Property Owners Alliance. He holds a BA from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a JD from Boston University.
Joseph A. Mariani, Jr. is the project manager for MP Los Angeles’ Hollywood Center development. As the former Associate Executive Director of the Hollywood Property Owners Alliance, Mariani worked closely with community members, property owners, investment trusts, and the city’s economic development team on strategic initiatives to bring Hollywood back as the true heart of Los Angeles. In his current role, Mariani is excited about bringing affordable senior units and needed amenities, such as open green space, to the core of Hollywood.
A proud Angeleno, Mariani is a distinguished honors graduate from the University of California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and an MBA.
